I really got into this book, Stone Babies, on the train today--almost missed my stop on the way home! It is quite a page turner after one gets going--a very ingenious plot. I love the role the computer plays, even if I don't understand all of the cyber-jargon.
P.S. great scenes of the South Bronx!

An excellent book!

A beautiful, beautiful book

Filled from cover to cover with gorgeous color photography

Comprehensive guide and no nonsense approach to circlesThe book includes a discussion of size, number of stones, avenues, sites and geographical relationships. It also includes a detailed appendix of all known circles and four-posters with landranger map coordinates, condition and survey details. An excellent guide to those who wish to explore and create their own theories.

Megalithic Mysteries DemystifiedRobin Heath's very readable style explains how neolithic civilisations would have planned, measured, and even built their fantastic astronomic calculators. Find out how the geometry and measuring systems of these people were linked to the Sun and the Moon's rotational periods, and even how to build your own stone circles!
